How long do I have to file a Toyota claim in California?
Longer than owners of many brands. Engine failure is about as substantial a defect as exists. If the engine was replaced under warranty and problems persist, or you waited months for a replacement while the truck sat, you may be entitled to a buyback, a replacement, or a cash settlement.
Is my Tundra covered if I use it for work?
Usually. California covers business-registered vehicles under 10,000 lbs curb weight when your business has five or fewer registered vehicles. A Tundra clears that test.
