Aston Martin DBX Lemon Law

Talk to a Aston Martin lemon law attorney — your Aston Martin DBX may qualify for a buyback, replacement, or cash settlement.

If your Aston Martin DBX has warned of a suspension fault, ridden unevenly from an air-suspension problem, or thrown recurring electronic and tire-pressure warnings, those are known DBX trouble spots. If Aston Martin can't fix the defect after a reasonable number of attempts, your DBX may qualify as a California lemon.

The Defect

The DBX rear-suspension and air-suspension defect

The DBX's most serious documented defect is a rear-suspension failure. Aston Martin recalled DBX SUVs — including the standard DBX and the DBX707 — because a pin in the torque reaction link can slide out of position in the rear lower suspension arm, allowing the arm casting to crack or shear. A broken rear suspension arm can cause a loss of control, especially at speed or in a corner. The remedy replaces the bolts with stronger hardware and inspects the arms, replacing any that are cracked.

Owners also report DBX problems that go beyond that recall: air-suspension faults that leave the SUV sitting low or riding harshly, a separately recalled tire-pressure monitoring software error that may fail to warn of low pressure, infotainment and electronic glitches, and warning lights that keep returning after service. On a six-figure performance SUV, these are exactly the kinds of defects that erode confidence in the vehicle.

California's Lemon Law extends well past any single recall. If a warranty-covered defect substantially impairs your DBX's use, value, or safety and Aston Martin has had a reasonable number of repair attempts — or the SUV has been out of service for an extended time — you may be entitled to a buyback, replacement, or cash settlement, with the manufacturer paying your attorney fees. That applies to the recalled suspension issue or to any persistent air-suspension or electronic fault.

Known Issues

Commonly Reported Aston Martin DBX Problems

Rear lower suspension arm can crack or shear from a loose torque-reaction-link pin (recalled)
Air-suspension faults causing low ride height, sagging, or a harsh ride
Tire-pressure monitoring system may fail to warn of low pressure (recalled software error)
Infotainment and electronic glitches with recurring warning lights
Repeat dealer visits for the same suspension or electronic defect

Not every Aston Martin DBX is affected. Any substantial, warranty-covered defect that can't be fixed after a reasonable number of attempts — or that keeps your vehicle out of service — may support a claim.

Your Rights

Is Your Aston Martin DBX a Lemon?

A recall is not automatically a lemon — it's the manufacturer acknowledging a defect and offering a free repair. California's Lemon Law (the Song-Beverly Act) comes into play when a substantial defect can't be fixed after a reasonable number of attempts, or when your DBX has been out of service for 30 or more cumulative days.

If your Aston Martin DBX qualifies, you may be entitled to a buyback (a refund of what you've paid, minus a mileage offset), a replacement vehicle, or a cash-and-keep settlement — and Aston Martin pays your attorney fees on a successful claim, so pursuing your case costs you nothing out of pocket.

Common Questions

Aston Martin DBX Lemon Law FAQs

Is the Aston Martin DBX suspension recall a California lemon?

It can be. The rear-suspension failure risk was recalled, but a recall by itself isn't automatically a lemon. If the repair doesn't hold, the problem recurs, or your DBX is out of service for an extended period, you may be owed a buyback, replacement, or cash settlement under California's Lemon Law, with Aston Martin paying your attorney fees.

My DBX has air-suspension or electronic problems that weren't recalled — do I have a claim?

Possibly. California's Lemon Law covers any warranty defect that substantially impairs use, value, or safety, not just recalled issues. If air-suspension faults, electronic glitches, or warning lights have sent your DBX back for repeated repairs without a lasting fix, you may qualify.

What can I recover for a defective DBX?

Potentially a buyback (a refund of what you've paid, minus a mileage offset), a replacement vehicle, or a cash-and-keep settlement — plus your attorney fees paid by Aston Martin. There's no cost to you to pursue a claim.
