Ram Instrument Cluster Blank-Screen Recall: Your California Lemon Law Rights

Ram has recalled 65,348 model year 2025–2026 trucks (NHTSA recall 26V225000, Stellantis reference 35D) because the digital instrument cluster can freeze or go blank while driving. Here's what the recall covers, what to do, and when a recall like this can become a California lemon law claim.

What the recall covers

A software error in the 3.5-inch instrument-panel cluster can make it inoperative at startup or while driving. A darkened display hides critical readouts — the gear-position indicator, brake and stability-control warnings, and tire-pressure status — which the federal safety agency warns can increase crash risk. The recall spans the Ram 1500, 2500, 3500, 4500, and 5500.

What owners should do now

• Watch for your Stellantis letter and schedule the free software reprogramming.
